Gary Silacci recently bought a 2004 Dodge Durango from and online auction and needed to get it from Elton, LA, to Amarillo, TX. He found some transporters online, and after a few calls he ended booking his transport with J&S.
“I found the truck, a 2004 Dodge Durango, on Auction Time, an online auction,” says Gary. “The Durango was in Louisiana and I needed to get it to my home in Texas.”
“I was online and I looked at some haulers I found. I called one of them first, and it was crazy. I mean, their prices were crazy. Very high. I asked, ‘Well, that means you’re hauling it in a closed trailer?’ And they said, ‘No.; And I was like, ‘Wow.’”
“I kept on looking and found J&S. I placed my order on the website, and then I got a call from Joe in dispatch to verify the pick-up date, and verify my information.”
“Joe was excellent; very courteous and polite. That’s basically why I chose J&S. Joe seemed like a good dude, and he’s very phone savvy.”
“I never shipped a car before but I didn’t really have any concerns. I figured if the transporter was bonded they probably had cargo insurance, and I had the car insured. The main thing I was concerned about was would it get to where I wanted it. And it did, so it worked out fine.”
“The transport went well; they delivered it in a timely manner and everything was cool. The communication was great. They called me when they were loading it. And the driver called me direct with his ETA so we didn’t have to wait very long.”
What most impressed me about J&S was the whole thing was very easy. Easy. They had a very easy website to deal with. Then the followed-up was very easy. I mean, they did a good job. They were punctual and reasonable.
“If I need to ship a car again, I’d absolutely use J&S and recommend them. They did a good job.”
