Georgia Car Shipping

The demand for Georgia auto transports is rapidly increasing as more and more people are moving to the state. In fact, all of our southeast auto transports are rapidly increasing with so many people moving to states such as Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. Like every state we ship cars to and from in the Southeast, some locations are better than others. Let’s take a look at the best car shipping locations in Georgia first.

The absolute best car shipping location should be obvious when you look at the map. It’s Atlanta! As the largest city in the state and located along a handful of key trucking corridors (I-75, I-85, and I-20), it is the ideal location to ship cars to and from. Car carriers are regularly traveling to or from Atlanta, GA so if this is your shipping origin or destination you’ll be in great shape.

Another decent car shipping location in Georgia is Augusta. It’s the state’s second most populated area and is located along I-20. Other locations that are o.k. to ship to and from are Athens and Savannah. Both cities are decent sized cities and are along or near busy interstates making them good locations for car carriers to get to and from. Athens is sandwiched in between I-85 and I-20, and Savannah has I-95 and I-16 running through it.

Now let’s look at the challenging areas to ship cars to or from in Georgia. These are areas that might take a bit longer to get a transport completed and will likely cost more money as well. Southwest Georgia is the toughest. There is nothing south of it except the Florida panhandle, and as far as Florida auto transports go, the panhandle is the least popular. What all of this means is, car carriers are not travelling through this area of Georgia on a regular basis. It’s sort of a dead zone in the state of Georgia as far as car shippers are concerned.

Another dead zone in the state is the heart of southeast Georgia. This is the area that is roughly 100 miles west of I-95, 100 miles east of I-75, and roughly 50 miles or so south of I-16. Cities in this area would include Hazlehurst, Baxley, Jesup, Blackshear, Waycross, and Douglas. All these locations can be challenging.

As a door-to-door auto transporter, we can deliver a car to or from any location in Georgia. No location is too challenging for us! To find out what it will cost to ship a car to or from Georgia, and how long it will take to get completed, get an instant quote online or call us at (800) 656-7638.

Indiana Car Shipping

Indiana is a popular car shipping state in the Midwest. In fact, you might be surprised to know that many car carriers have their home base in Indiana. It is an ideal location for car carriers given its relatively central location in the country and the fact that several interstates crisscross the state.

The best car shipping location in Indiana is the state's largest city and capital, Indianapolis. With its central location in the state, and with a metro population exceeding 2 million and four interstates intersecting the city (I-65, I-69, I-74, I-70), it is a very busy car shipping location for car carriers. It's probably one of the friendliest car shipping "hubs" you'll find in the country.

Fort Wayne in the northeast corner of the state and South Bend in the far northern part of the state will be your next best car shipping locations. When you get into northern Indiana you want to be as close to I-90 as possible so Fort Wayne not being that far from I-90 and South Bend being right along I-90 make for solid car shipping locations.

The towns and cities bordering the Louisville, KY metro area in the southeast corner of Indiana are solid car shipping locations as well.

As for more challenging car shipping locations in the state, anything 50 miles north or south of I-64 in the southern portion of the state always seems to be challenging. They’re just not common trucking corridors that car carriers travel to.
