Utah is a state that is largely covered with mountains and is home to five national parks. It’s also a state where towns and cities are often in the “middle of nowhere” where the nearest town or city can easily be over one hundred miles away. The exception are the cities of Ogden, Salt Lake City, and Provo located in the northern region of the state. They are all located relatively close to each other, and all are right off of interstates (I-15 and I-80) so they are easily accessible. In fact, ninety percent of our auto transports to and from Utah are to one of those three cities. They are the best and easiest locations to ship cars to or from in the state of Utah as carriers are regularly serving those cities.
Unfortunately, any other location in Utah is challenging to ship cars to or from. Very few carriers are regularly passing through and serving other parts of the state. As a result, it can take longer (and take more money) to find a carrier willing to go out of their way to travel to a town or city that is in the middle of nowhere just to pick up or deliver one vehicle.

The first thing that comes to mind when you think of Nevada is probably Las Vegas, the Entertainment Capital of the World, but Nevada is also known for its vast desert landscapes. Outside of the Las Vegas - Henderson metro area, the state is sparsely populated. In fact, few states are as big as Nevada with so little population. Nevada is the 7th largest state by area, but only has approximately 3 million people! If you look at a map, there are mainly three population centers. You have of course the Las Vegas - Henderson metro area in southern Nevada, the Reno - Carson City area in western Nevada, and then some sparsely populated towns along I-80 that cuts West to East across the northern part of the state.
It should be easy to spot which locations are going to be your best car shipping locations in Nevada. The absolute best car shipping location starts with the Las Vegas - Henderson metro area. A very popular shipping route is the Las Vegas and Salt Lake City, UT lane. Carriers regularly go back and forth between those two cities. Las Vegas is also a popular shipping location because it’s relatively close (and along the way) to Los Angeles, CA and Phoenix, AZ, which are two HUGE car shipping locations!
The next best car shipping location is going to be the Reno and Carson City area. While not nearly as popular of a location for car carriers as Las Vegas, it does have a decent number of transports going in and out of the area so shipping cars to or from this location isn't too bad. This location can be challenging, however, when you're shipping to or from locations in Washington and Oregon because there aren't any interstates that directly connect those states with the Reno area.
Rounding out the best car shipping locations in Nevada, you'll want to stick along the I-80 corridor in the northern part of the state.
All other areas of Nevada can be very challenging to ship cars to and from, especially if you're more than 50 miles north or south of the I-80 corridor.
